Multiplayer Connection Troubleshooting & Fixes

Issue: "Connection Timed Out / Failed to Join Host"

Both host and joining players must be running the exact same Steam patch. Also verify that Windows Defender Firewall allows Permafrost.exe on both private and public networks.

Issue: Host Crash / Smart App Control Interception

On Windows 11, add an exclusion for Permafrost.exe in Windows Security -> App & Browser Control -> Smart App Control to prevent lobby handshake blocks.
